Eastman mandolins were recommended to us by our friend Shaun Drey. We've been impressed with the craftsmanship in every model we have played.
The 800 model mandolins are handcarved from solid select spruce with highly flamed maple backs and sides with full ivoroid bindings. Features include - ebony fingerboard, adjustable bridge, gold plated Schaller tuners with mother-of- pearl buttons. In the style of Lloyd Loar's mandolins of the 1920's. Oblong case with accessory compartments included.
